An image says more than 1000 words. Well we don't need quite as many as that, as it's way more simple. We're moving, not us physically, but our site. From the host we're using today we have the opportunity to move over to CityNetwork and their CityCloud service which means, SweMOD is officially hitting the clouds.
This allows us to scale the site from 1 CPU up to a total of 16 CPU, with up to 16GB of ram and several hundreds of gigabyte in storage.
Our new partnership with CityNetwork gives us a CityCloud hosting with at least 1 CPU, 1 GB of ram, 20 GB diskspace and 1000 GB traffic, which will easily cover the need for SweMOD.
Compare that to our old host; shared hosting, 1 GB diskspace, 10 GB traffic and not much control. It worked, sure, but it's time to move on.
Head on over to CityNetwork and CityCloud to see their current offers.
