Warframe Isleweaver Update

Warframe Isleweaver Update

Warframe’s next major update, Isleweaver, is now available for free on all platforms, including the newly launched Nintendo Switch 2*. Following the events of Warframe: 1999, this update features the arrival of the 61st Warframe, Oraxia, a brand-new Clan Operation, fresh deluxe cosmetics, a streamlined new player experience, as well as various quality of life changes.

"With Isleweaver, we finally got the opportunity to work on 'Spiderframe,'" said Pablo Alonso, Design Director.

"We have been working on it behind the scenes for a long time, but we knew we would need the right update to be able to develop her. She has a very complex movement set to really live up to the fantasy of a spider, and the whole team really came together to make her possible.

Obviously, the animation and coding challenges were tremendous, but special shoutout to the audio team, the sounds of her webs really are fantastic. Very proud of the work the team did, and I hope you have as much fun playing her as we did making her."

Players who have completed the Warframe: 1999 Quest, The Hex, will have access to:

  • An expanded Kingdom of Duviri. Explore a new island in Duviri, Scholar’s Landing, to uncover the mystery of why Warframe: 1999’s antagonist, Major Rusalka, now reigns here alongside the return of The Murmur enemy faction. Gear up with any acquired Warframes and weapons to bring core Warframe gameplay into the beautiful, Void-torn kingdom of Duviri as often as anyone desires.

  • Operation: Eight Claw. Earn transformative exclusive event rewards by teaming up with an unlikely ally, Dominus Thrax, to reclaim Scholar’s Landing and Duviri’s throne in a new lore-expanding Clan Operation.

  • The 61st Warframe. Oraxia, the mistress of fear, creeps her way into Isleweaver to fulfill the years of requests from the community for a ‘Spiderframe’. Sling webs and cling to walls, summon spiderlings, and equip two new weapons in Warframe’s arsenal: the barb cluster Scyotid throwing weapon and the poisonous Spinnerex whip. Oraxia can be earned by collecting the required parts and resources via gameplay within the main Isleweaver progression path or instantly unlocked from the Warframe Marketplace with Platinum.

All Warframe players will immediately have access to:

  • New Deluxe and TennoGen Cosmetics. Don the latest Deluxe Collection featuring a new bejeweled cosmetic skin for Citrine, alongside fresh TennoGen cosmetics that enable players to adorn their Warframes, Weapons, and more with community-designed customizations.

  • New Player Experience and Quality of Life. Dive in as a first-time player to see the improvements around the game’s main progression path in this update, alongside revamped gameplay and onboarding tutorials through one of the first Quests. Digital Extremes continuously looks at new player feedback to help refine the onboarding experience for new players, ensuring this will not be the final update of its kind.
