If you want, you can visit our [guidelines] to see how we test our products. The ambient temperature during tests were 21º Celsius.
Temperatures is measured with an external temperature measurement tool and using two programs. The first is “CoreTemp” and the second one is “Intel Thermal Analysis Tool” named respectively in the temperature result table Core / TAT.
Compared to the other coolers in our list this is not the best performer when it comes to idle mode but the cooler is quiet, which is a great plus. However at full load the fan is still producing very low noise and it actually performs better and therefore is a good performer against the other coolers.
The higher temperature in idle mode is due to that the fan is on the verge to stop and it even does stop at sometimes when the temperature allows it. Which means, this cooler is dead quiet at those times, isn’t that just perfect?
On next page we’ll take a look at our conclusion and the score table.
