Our test system is based on these components.

- 3x Western Digital WD2500JS 250GB 7200rpm 8MB SATA2
- Windows Vista Ultimate
We rip apart our test-rig to install the new PX8800GT into it. Even though I love my 8800GTX card it is a beauty to see a slim card install into the rig ;)
When installed we get our computer running and find out that our ForceWare driver version is 169.25.
This graphics card is going to be tested with the following software.
- Futuremark 3DMark06 (ver. 1.1.0)
As this is our first graphics card that we test on SweMOD after our restart in October 2007 we do not have any test results to compare with. But common sense tells us that we should be able to get some decent numbers from this card.
We would also like to check the temperatures, as we know the 8800GTX chip can get quite hot, so check out the temperature table below to see how it compares with the 8800GTX chipset.
